Updated COVID-19 ISBE School Information 8/15/23:


CURRENT:

If a student or staff member tests positive (regardless of vaccination status), they will isolate for 5 days if they do not have symptoms (may include fever, chills, sore throat, cough, shortness of breath, body aches, loss of taste and/or smell) but must continue to mask for 5 days after isolation ends. PARENTS/STUDENTS: If a student is not able to mask at school, isolation needs to continue at home for the remaining 5 days. 

If a student or staff member is unvaccinated and is a close contact to a positive case, they will isolate for 5 days if they do not have symptoms, but should continue to mask for 5 days after isolation ends. (A vaccinated student or staff member does not need to be isolated if not experiencing symptoms but must self monitor symptoms daily for 10 days). 


REMINDERS

If a student or staff member tests positive (regardless of vaccination status) and they have symptoms, they will be required to be isolated for 5  TO 10 days; need to be symptom free for 24 hours before returning. 


If a vaccinated student is exposed to a positive case at school, daily symptoms should be monitored for 10 days. 

STAFF and STUDENTS - PLEASE DO NOT come to school/work if you have any COVID-like symptoms and obtain a PCR test or alternative diagnosis. Please notify Jessica of your situation immediately! Cell #: 309-303-0289
